Weather & Cancellation Policy

At Miramichi Water Adventures, the safety of our guests and staff is our highest priority.

Our goal is to provide an exciting and memorable experience on the Miramichi River while ensuring every rental is conducted under safe operating conditions.

Weather Operations

Rental operations may be delayed, suspended, shortened, or cancelled whenever weather or water conditions are considered unsafe for personal watercraft operation.

Conditions that may result in cancellation include, but are not limited to:

• Thunderstorms or lightning in the area

• Dense fog or significantly reduced visibility

• High winds

• Severe weather warnings

• Hazardous water conditions

• Floating debris or river hazards

• Any condition that, in the sole opinion of Miramichi Water Adventures, could compromise the safety of our guests or staff

• Weather conditions are continuously monitored throughout the day, and operational decisions may change as conditions evolve.

 

If We Cancel Due to Weather

If Miramichi Water Adventures cancels your rental due to unsafe weather or water conditions, you may choose one of the following options:

✔ Reschedule your booking (subject to availability)  **OR**  ✔ Receive a full refund

Customer Cancellations

Customers may cancel their reservation and receive a full refund by providing at least 24 hours' notice prior to their scheduled rental time.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled rental time are non-refundable.

Overcast Skies & Light Rain

Overcast skies, light rain, or changing weather forecasts do not normally affect rental operations.

Same-day cancellations made by customers due to overcast conditions, light rain, or personal preference are **not eligible for a refund** if Miramichi Water Adventures determines that conditions remain safe for operation.

Safety Decisions

For the safety of our guests and staff, all weather and water condition decisions are made solely by Miramichi Water Adventures.

Our decisions are based on current observations, weather forecasts, visibility, wind conditions, river conditions, and overall operational safety.

The safety decision of Miramichi Water Adventures is final.
